Narragansett Town Beach on a September afternoon offered something rare: emptiness. The rocky shore, studded with moss-covered boulders, stretched quiet beneath a clear sky. A handful of seals had claimed the water, sunbathing in the gentle swells while the beach itself remained largely undisturbed.
